Net-zero energy, infill cottage community developed in partnership with Rooted Homes (formerly the Kor Community Land Trust). Rooted Homes provides environmentally sustainable and permanently affordable homeownership opportunities for those who contribute to the fabric of the Central Oregon economy and community. Full Circle Design was proud to provide design services for what was then only their second community. Rooted Homes has continued to expand their presence in Central Oregon with multiple additional (and larger) communities, providing much-needed housing for Bend’s workforce community.

Key Features: thermally broken/isolated slab on grade, continuous r-20 under-slab insulation, 2×8 exterior wall framing for increased r-value, solar PV array, energy recovery ventilation, ductless mini-split heating & cooling system, heat pump hot water heating.
